everyday to protect and defend our nation. Our Civil Service workers stand behind
our military in support of their efforts.
The Hardin County Veterans Tribute, dedicated on Veterans Day 2012, honors the sacrifices
and service of all United States veterans from each of the five military branches, and says
thank you to the men and women of the civil service. The Tribute offers an opportunity for
you to show your heartfelt support for all men and women, living and deceased, who have
contributed their all for our country's well-being and for our personal freedoms.
The tribute is located inside the Elizabethtown Nature Park located at 1900 Ring Road, Elizabethtown, KY 42701.
From 31W (North or South)- Turn onto Ring Road beside Herb Jones Chevrolet. Go past Target (on right),
through stop light, past Fire Station (on left) and Tribute is on your left across from Freeman Lake. The
Tribute is inside The Elizabethtown Nature Park and is easily seen from Ring Road.
From I-65 (North or South) and Martha Lane Collins/Western Kentucky Parkway- Take Exit 94 off of I-65
onto Hwy. 62 West aka Mulberry Street. Go to 3rd red light and turn right onto Ring Road ( KY RD 3005).
Follow Ring Road and go through 4 red lights. The Tribute will be on your right across from Freeman Lake
inside The Elizabethtown Nature Park. Easily seen from Ring Road.
